AiRS (Action in Rural Sussex) have advised the parish council of an initiative that they are running with a view to supporting local businesses in our area (Chiddingly/East Hoathly/Laughton).
Their Virtual Business Networks project focuses on encouraging peer-to-peer networking between people currently involved in running their own business, wishing to start a business or who are involved in another form of community enterprise.
To launch this they are running an initiation session to explore local aspirations and needs. This will take place on the Tuesday 8th May 2018 between 7.00pm and 8.30pm at Chiddingly Village Hall. Further details are available via the link below:
The goal is to provide a valuable networking opportunity for anyone involved in running or operating a local business, providing participants with mutual support and a forum to discuss local issues. There will also be an opportunity to explore a range of government-backed business support schemes focused on training, advice and funding provided by our project partner the Lets Do Business Group.
