Parish Council Survey
27th July 2020

As some parishioners will know, most local councils receive a "CIL" (Community Infrastructure Levy) budget that must be spent on infrastructure to enhance the community. The current allocated amount for Chiddingly Parish Council is approximately £16,000.

We have received and discussed a few possible ideas for "CIL" projects over the past year, the most popular and viable of which is to install several pieces of outdoor gym equipment in Jubilee Field (near the existing playpark area) which would cost around £11,000.

This kind of outdoor exercise equipment is increasing in popularity in local parks as it enables adults to do some basic exercise training for free, in the open air, without having to join a gym or pay to use a local fitness centre.

However, before proceeding with this project we wish to get more feedback from the community to ensure residents feel this would be: a) a good use of funds; and b) something enough residents would use to justify it.

Please click here to access the Parish Council survey. Your views are really important to the council and we would appreciate your feedback.

If you are unable to access the survey please contact the clerk with your views and feedback
